Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. SAT-MOD-20060410-00041 E S2180 SES Americom, Inc. Date Filed: 04/10/2006 17:43:50:08300 Modification SES Americom, Inc. (SES Americom) requests a modification of its authorization for its AMC-15 hybrid Ka/Ku-band satellite currently operating at the 105º W.L. orbital location in the 11.7-12.2 GHz, 14.0-14.5 GHz, 18.6-18.8 GHz, 19.7-20.2 GHz, 28.4-28.6 GHz, and 29.5-30.0 GHz frequency bands to relocate the satellite to the 105.05º W.L. orbital location. SES Americom seeks this modification in order to simplify stationkeeping at this location. SAT-PPL-20060330-00035 E S2696 SES Satellites (Gibraltar) Limited Date Filed: 03/30/2006 17:55:58:73600 Petition for Declaratory Ruling to be Added to the Permitted List SES Satellites (Gibraltar) Ltd. (SES Gibraltar) has filed a petition for a declaratory ruling to place the Satcom C-4 satellite on the Permitted Space Station List (Permitted List) once it is transferred to the jurisdiction of Gibraltar. This will allow Satcom C-4 to provide new C-band fixed satellite-service to the United States from the nominal 105º W.L. orbital location. SES Americom, Inc. (SES Americom), the corporate parent of SES Gibraltar, currently operates the Satcom C-4 space station as an in-orbit spare at the 85º W.L. orbital location. SES Gibraltar has received authority from the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority to operate Satcom C-4 at the nominal 105 º W.L. orbital location. In connection with SES Gibraltar’s petition, SES Americom has requested special temporary authority from the Commission to drift Satcom C-4 to the 103.1º W.L. orbital location to prepare for the requested new service, and has requested separate special temporary authority to drift Satcom C-4 from the 103.1º W.L. orbital location to its operating destination at the 104.95º W.L. orbital location. (SES Americom) has filed a request for special temporary authority for a period of up to 60 days to conduct Telemetry, Tracking and Command operations during the relocation of its C-band Satcom C-4 satellite to the 104.95º W.L. orbital location. In a separate but related application, SES Satellites Gibraltar has filed a petition for a declaratory ruling to place the Satcom C-4 satellite on the Permitted Space Station List at the 104.95º W.L. orbital location. SAT-STA-20060404-00038 E DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC Date Filed: 04/04/2006 16:44:46:43300 Special Temporary Authority DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC has filed an extension request for its Speical Temporary Authority to continue operating its DIRECTV 6 satellite as an in-orbit spare at the 109.5° W.L. orbital location for a total of up to 180 days.
