SAT-LOA-20051221-00267 E S2694 EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation Launch and Operating Authority Granted in Part/ Deferred in Part Effective Date: 03/27/2006 Nature of Service: Direct Broadcast Satellite Service, Other On March 27, 2006, the Satellite Division GRANTED IN PART and DEFERRED IN PART EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation's (EchoStar's) application, File No. SAT-LOA-20051221-00267, as amended by SAT-AMD-20060120-00007, to construct, launch, and operate a direct broadcast satellite (DBS), EchoStar 10, at the 110° W.L. orbital location. Accordingly, EchoStar is authorized to operate the EchoStar 10 satellite at the 110° W.L. orbital location with feeder links (Earth to space) in the 17.3-17.8 GHz band on DBS channels 2-7, 9-27, 29, and 31, and service links (space to Earth) in the 12.2-12.7 GHz band on DBS channels 4, 12, 18, 20, 23, 25, and 26. Action on EchoStar's request to operate service links on DBS channels 27, 29, and 31 at the 110° W.L. nominal orbital location is deferred. SAT-PPL-20050706-00143 E S2677 Star One S.A. Petition for Declaratory Ruling to be Added to the Permitted List Grant of Authority Effective Date: 03/29/2006 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On March 29, 2006, the Commission GRANTED with CONDITIONS, the Petition for Declaratory Ruling filed by Star One SA (File No. SAT-PPL-20050706-00143, as amended by SAT-AMD-20050714-00147 and SAT-AMD-20051118-00222 ) to add the hybrid C and Ku-band Star One C1 satellite (Call Sign S2677) located at the 65° W.L. orbital location, which is licensed by Brazil, to the Commission's Space Station Permitted List. Accordingly, each U.S.-licensed earth station with "ALSAT" designated as a point of communication, IS GRANTED authority to provide Fixed Satellite Services (FSS) in the 14000-14500 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11700-12200 GHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) and 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands, to, from, or within the United States, by accessing the Star One C1 satellite at the 65° W.L. orbital location. SAT-STA-20060303-00022 E S2232 EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 03/28/2006 Nature of Service: Direct Broadcast Satellite Service On March 28, 2006, the Satellite Division Granted with conditions EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation (EchoStar) application, File No. SAT-STA-20060303-00022 (Call Sign S2232). Accordingly, EchoStar is authorized for a period of 30 days commencing on March 29, 2006, to (1) relocate its EchoStar 6 satellite from 110.2° W.L. to 100.35° W.L. and (2) operate the satellite at 110.35° W.L. with +/- 0.05 longitudinal stationkeeping.
