as an international resale carrier of space segment service.

Modification
EchoStar Satellite Corporation has filed an Application for Modification of its Ku-band Fixed-Satellite Service Satellite. In its
Application, EchoStar requests authority to extend the launch and construction milestones for its FSS-1 satellite. EchoStar is seeking
an extension pending Commission action on petitions for reconsideration filed by GE American Communications, Inc. and
PRIMESTAR Partners, L.P. EchoStar asks that the construction completion and the launch milestones of its FSS-1 satellite be
extended to 24 months and 27 months following Commission action on the pending petitions for reconsideration.
