Nature of Service:    Fixed Satellite Service


On October 26, 2005, the Satellite Division, Policy Branch granted with conditions SES AMERICOM Inc.'s (SES Americom) request,
IBFS No. SAT-MOD-20050610-00121, to modify its existing authorization to operate the in-orbit Fixed Satellite Service Hybrid
C-and Ku-band AMC-6 satellite (Call Sign: S2347) at 72° W.L. to add authority to operate the spacecraft's extended Ku-band payload
and to permit service to South America in the conventional Ku-band and the extended Ku-band. Accordingly, SES Americom is
authorized to operate the AMC-6 satellite at 72° W.L. orbital location in order to provide service South America in the standard
Ku-bands; 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and in the extended Ku-bands; 11.45-11.7 GHz
(space-to-Earth), and 13.75-14.0 GHz (Earth-to-space), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set
forth in its application, this Attachment and the Federal Communications Commission's (Commission) Rules. This is in addition to
SES Americom's continuing authority to operate in the C-band, 5.925-6.425 GHz, (Earth-to-space) and 3.700-4.200 GHz
(space-to-Earth), as well as in the Ku-band, 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) and 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth). The conditions of
SES Americom's existing authorization to operate AMC-6 otherwise remain unchanged.

On Ocober 27, 2005, the Satellite Division, Policy Branch, granted with conditions EchoStar Satellite, LLC's (EchoStar) request for a
30-day period, File No. SAT-STA -20051018-00202 to conduct Tracking, Telemetry, and Command (TT&C) and to operate at the
77º W.L. orbital location on a non-harmful interference basis so as not to exceed, under any conditions, and taking into account all
variations in satellite attitude, the parameters specified in Attachment A of the Letter, dated May 10, 2005, from Pantelis
Michalopoulos to the Secretary, Federal Communications Commission. Grant of this application is without prejudice to on EchoStar's
STA request, File No. SAT-SAT-20050321-00068 (Call Sign S2621), or EchoStar's application for Modification of an Earth Station
authorization, SES-MFS-20050527-00662 (Call Sign E020306).

On October 26, 2005, the Satellite Division, Policy Branch, granted with conditions SES AMERICOM Inc.'s modification,
request, IBFS No. SAT-MOD-20050610-00121. In light of that action, SES AMERICOM Inc.'s request for special temporary
authority, IBFS No. SAT-STA-20050819-00164, is DISMISSED AS MOOT. See IBFS File No. SAT-MOD-20050610-00121 for
a complete description of the action taken.
