The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice
may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions and
other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless

proposes to operate its Galaxy-9 spacecraft from 90.9º WL. The Galaxy-9 satellite would provide U.S. coverage from 90.9º WL
utilizing the 5925 - 6425 MHz and 3700 - 4200 MHz frequency bands.

authority for 180 days, or until the effective date of the permanent rules for the operation of Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service

DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC has filed an application for Special Temporary Authority for a period beginning August 26, 3005 through
October 10, 2005. Specifically, DIRECTV seeks authority to drift the DIRECTV 8 satellite from 101º W.L. to 138º W.L., conduct
in-orbit testing of the Direct Broadcast Satellite communications payload at that location and to migrate back to 101º W.L. DIRECTV
has made arrangements to conduct the in-orbit test using the Canadian BSS orbital location at 138º W.L. for approximately two weeks
in September.
