On June 17, 2005, the Policy Branch granted, with conditions, EchosStar Satellite L.L.C.'s ("EchoStar") request for Special Temporary
Authority (STA), File No. SAT-STA-20050321-00068, to relocate the EchoStar 4 satellite from the 157º W.L. orbital location to the
61.35º W.L. orbital location. Accordingly, EchoStar is authorized to operate the EchoStar 4 satellite's Tracking, Telemetry,
Command, and Monitoring (TTC&M) during the drift to the 61.35º W.L. orbital location for a period of 30 days from June 17, 2005,
until July 17, 2005, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in its application, the attachment
to the grant, and the Commission's rules.

Grant of this application is without prejudice to action on Echostar's June 8, 2005 Petition for Reconsideration of the EchoStar 4
Order. See Echostar Satellite, LLC, Memorandum Opinion and Order, DA 05-1581 (rel. June 3, 2005) ("EchoStar 4 Order"). Further,
grant of this application does not constitute an authorization pursuant to Section 25.161(c) of the Commission's Rules concerning
automatic termination of license.

Granted DIRECTV Enterprises, L.L.C.'s (DIRECTV) applications for special temporary authority (STA), IBFS File No.
SAT-STA-20050616-00125 and SAT-STA-20050616-00126, Accordingly, DIRECTV is authorized for a period of 30 days
commencing on June 24, 2005 on a non-interference basis (1) to operate Tracking, Telemetry, and Command ("TT&C") functions in
the 17307 MHz (Earth-to-Space) and 12203.25 and 12203.75 MHz (Space-to-Earth) frequencies at and during transit to the 100.65°
W.L. orbital location and (2) to operate the Ka-band communications payload in the 18.3 - 18.8 GHz (space-to-Earth), 28.35 - 28.6
GHz (Earth-to-space), 19.7 - 20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 29.25-30.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands on the DIRECTV 8
satellite at the 100.65° W.L. orbital location.

The Bureau has determined that EchoStar Satellite L.L.C. has met the Contract Execution milestone associated with this
authorization (see also File No. SAT-LOA-20030827-00186) and may reduce the bond amount by 25% as provided in the
Amendment of the Commission's Space Station Licensing Rules and Policies, First Report and Order and Further Notice of
Proposed Rulemaking. IB Docket No. 02-34, 18 FCC Rcd 10760 (2003); Amendment of the Commission's Space Station
