The Commission reserves the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions and other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154. SAT-MOD-20050609-00117 E S2156 SES Americom, Inc. Date Filed: 06/09/2005 18:18:56:94600 Modification SES Americom, Inc. has filed an application for modification of its license for the AMC-5 fixed-satellite space station to assign the satellite to the 78.95º W.L. orbital location. SES Americom seeks to operate at a slight offset from it currently assigned 79º W.L. orbit loation in order to simplify stationkeeping at this location. SES Americom’s Satcom C-3 spacecraft has also been assigned to 79º W.L. (See File No. SAT-MOD-20040814-00159) and is currently being drifted toward that position. SES Americom is concurrently filing a modification application seeking authority to operate Satcom C-3 centered at 79.05º W.L. (See File No. SAT-MOD-20050609-00118) SAT-MOD-20050609-00118 E S2447 SES Americom, Inc. Date Filed: 06/09/2005 18:19:37:00300 Modification SES Americom, Inc. has filed an application for modification of its license for the Satcom C-3 fixed-satellite space station to assign the satellite to the 79.05º W.L. orbital location. Satcom C-3 is currently being drifted toward its assigned 79º W.L. orbit location from 131º W.L. pursuant to authority granted by the Commission last year. (See File No. SAT-MOD-20040814-00159) SES Americom seeks to operate Satcom C-3 at a slight offset from 79º W.L. in order to simplify stationkeeping at this location, where SES Americom’s AMC-5 satellite also operates. (See File No. SAT-MOD-20050609-00117) SAT-STA-20050608-00116 E S2179 EchoStar Satellite L.L.C. Date Filed: 06/08/2005 21:00:42:02300 Special Temporary Authority EchoStar Satellite L.L.C. has filed an application for special temoporary authority to operate the EchoStar 9 satellite in the lower 500 MHz portion of the Ka-band frequencies - specifically, the 18.3-18.8 GHz, 28.35-28.6 GHz and 29.25-29.5 GHz (lower Ka-band) frequencies - at the 121° W.L. orbital location, for a 30-day period.
