The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice
may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions and
other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless
otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

Special Temporary Authority


EchoStar Satellite L.L.C. has filed a request for special temporary authority (STA) to (a) move the EchoStar 4 satellite from its current
orbital position at 157° W.L. to 77° W.L.; and (b) perform telemetry, tracking and command (TT&C) operations in order to relocate
EchoStar 4 to the 77° W.L. orbital location assigned to Mexico under the International Telecommunications Union’s allotment plan
for Region 2, where it will be operated by QuetzSat, S. de R.L. de C.V., an entity duly licensed by the Mexican Secretariat of
Communications and Transportation. EchoStar requests that this STA be granted for up to 180 days commencing no later than May
15, 2005.

Intelsat LLC has filed a request for a 60-day extension, until June 9, 2005, of the Special Temporary Authority granted on February
11, 2005, to enable Intelsat LLC to continue to provide UHF Space Segment capacity on a non-interference basis via its MARISAT-F2
satellite at 33.9º W.L. in support of NATO. (See File No. SAT-STA-20041217-00225.)
