Nature of Service:    Fixed Satellite Service


On December 20, 2004, the Policy Branch granted with conditions Intelsat LLC's (Intelsat) request, File No.
SAT-STA-20041018-00203, for authority to operate its INTELSAT 605 satellite (Call Sign S2394) for 60 days at the 77º W.L.
orbital location. Accordingly, Intelsat is conditionally authorized to operate the INTESLAT 605 in the 3700 - 4200 MHz (downlink)
and 5925 - 6425 MHz (uplink) frequencies and the 14.0 - 14.5 GHz (uplink) frequency band at the 77º W.L. orbital location for a
period of 60 days. In light of our action here, Intelsat's application, File No. SAT-STA-20041217-00223, IS DISMISSED as MOOT.

Nature of Service:    Fixed Satellite Service


On December 10, 2004, the Policy Branch granted with conditions SES Americom, Inc.'s ("SES Americom") request for Special
Temporary Authority, File No. SAT-STA20041130-00214, to relocate the AMC-15 Ku/Ka-band hybrid satellite to the 117º W.L.
orbital position and to temporarily stop at the 117º W.L. orbital position. Accordingly, SES Americom is authorized to operate the
AMC-15 satellite's Tracking, Telemetry, Command and Monitoring during the drift to 117º W.L. orbital location and during its
temporary stop at 117º W.L. for the period of 30 days from December 10, 2004 until January 9, 2005. During the drift of the
AMC-15 satellite to the 117º W.L. orbital location and during its temporary stop at the 117º W.L. orbital location, SES Americom
shall not operate the communications payload on the AMC-15. Grant of the STA is without prejudice to our action on SES
Americom’s pending request, File No. SAT-STA-20041012-00198, to operate the AMC-15 Ka-band payload for a period of two
months at the 117º W.L. orbital location and to also operate the AMC-15 Ka-band payload at the 113º W.L. orbital location at a later
date

and PanAmSat is authorized for a period of 30 days commencing on December 24, 2004 to relocate GALAXY 12 from 125.25° W.L.
to 125.05° W.L. and to operate the GALAXY 12 satellite, Call Sign S2422, at the 125.05° W.L. orbital position in the 3700 - 4200
MHz and 5925 - 6425 MHz frequency bands.

Grnated PanAmSat Licensee Corp's. (PanAmSat), application, SAT-STA-20041208-00217, PanAmSat, is authorized for a period of
30 days commencing on December 24, 2004 to (1) relocate GALAXY 5 from 125.05° W.L. to 125.15° W.L. and to operate
GALAXY 5 in the 3700 - 4200 MHz and 5925 - 6425 MHz frequency bands for the purpose of transferring communications traffic to
GALAXY 12 (call sign S2422) , and (2) once the communications traffic has been transferred, operate the tracking, telemetry and
command ("TT&C") systems on GALAXY 5 satellite to perform end-of-life maneuvers boosting the satellite to a disposal orbit above
the geostationary arc,
