                                         Satellite Space Applications Accepted for Filing
The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice
may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions and
other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless
otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

EchoStar Satellite L.L.C. has filed an application to modify its authorization to construct, launch and operate a geostationary satellite
using the extended Ku-band frequencies in the Fixed-Satellite Service at the 121º W.L. orbital location. EchoStar seeks to add the
frequency band 10.95-11.2 GHz to its licensed downlinks. (See File No. SAT-LOA-20031215-00355)

On October 29, 2004, EchoStar Satellite L.L.C. filed a $3 million performance bond, payable to the U.S. Treasury, as required by
its space station authorization to launch and operate a satellite at 113° W.L. (See Grant Stamp, dated October 8, 2004; see also
Public Notice, Report No. SAT-00250, DA 04-3268 (October 15, 2004).)
