                                          Satellite Space Applications Accepted for Filing
The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice
may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions and
other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless
otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

Launch and Operating Authority


EchoStar Satellite L.L.C. has filed an application to construct, launch and operate a geostationary satellite in the fixed satellite service
at 113º W.L. operating in the 18.3-18.8 and 19.7-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 28.35-28.6 and 29.25-20.0 GHz (Earth-to-space)
frequency bands. EchoStar proposes to offer Direct-to-Home services, two-way broadband services, interactive services and HD
content on a non-common carrier basis. In addition, EchoStar has requested a limited waiver of the Commission's rules, to the extent
necessary, to permit it to submit information relating to specific TT&C frequencies and satellite spacecraft design at a future date,
stating the information will be submitted when it becomes available.
