The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Petitions, oppositions and other pleadings filed in response to

SAT-MOD-20021127-00232            E S2347           SES AMERICOM, INC.
Modification


SES AMERICOM, Inc. (SES AMERICOM) has filed an application for modification of its license for the AMC-6 fixed-satellite space
station. Specifically, SES AMERICOM requests reassignment of AMC-6 from the 72º W.L. orbital location to the 101º W.L. orbital
location upon the successful launch and entry into operation at 72º W.L. of the AMC-9 spacecraft. The 101º W.L. orbital location is
already assigned to SES AMERICOM and is currently occupied by the AMC-4 spacecraft. SES AMERICOM will seek Commission
authority to relocate AMC-4 in a subsequent filing.

Special Temporary Authority


Intelsat LLC has filed a request for Special Temporary Authority, for 180 days, to immediately begin drifting INTELSAT 702 to 55.0
degrees E.L. and to begin operating at that location in February 2003.
