The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Petitions, oppositions and other pleadings filed in response to
this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

SAT-MOD-20020627-00095             E TDRS5           Columbia Communications Corporation
Modification


Columbia Communications Corporation has filed an application for modification of the license for its TDRS-5 satellite. Columbia
seeks to extend the license term for TDRS-5 by five years. In the alternative, Columbia requests an extension of special temporary
authority to continue operations on the TDRS-5 satellite for a period of six months. TDRS-5 is a geostationary C-band satellite
operating at 174.3° W.L.



SAT-MOD-20020628-00094             E GSTAR 4         SES AMERICOM, INC.
Modification



SES Americom, Inc. has filed an apaplication for modification of license for its GSTAR IV satellite. SES Americom seeks to extend
the license term for GSTAR IV by five years. In the alternative, SES Americom requests an extension of special temporary authority
to continue operations on its GSTAR IV satellite for an additional period of six months. GSTAR IV is a geostationary Ku-band satellite
operating at 105° W.L.
