The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in

Petition for Declaratory Ruling


On March 15, 2002, Loral SpaceCom Corporation d/b/a Loral Skynet filed a Petition for Declaratory Ruling requesting the
Commission to add its Telstar 13 C-band payload, authorized by Papau New Guinea to the "Permitted Space Station" list created by the
Commission in the DISCO II First Reconsideration Order. [See Amendment of the Commission's Regulatory Policies to Allow
Non-U.S. Licensed Space Stations to Provide Domestic and International Satellite Service in the United States, Order, IB Docket No.
96-111, FCC 99-325 (released Oct. 29, 1999) (DISCO II First Reconsideration Order).]

SAT-STA-20011213-00132                            SES Americom, Inc.

SES Americom, Inc. filed a letter on February 28, 2002 withdrawing this pending application for special temporary authority for
its Satcom K2 satellite, as the de-orbiting process began on February 27, 2002.
