EchoStar Satellite Corporation has filed an application for Authority to Operate its EchoStar 7 direct broadcast satellite at 119° W.L.

Modification
Echostar Satellite Corporation has filed an Application for Modification of its authorization to operate 21 direct broadcast channels at
119° W.L. With this modification, Echostar seeks authority to locate the Echostar 7 DBS satellite at 119° W.L. The Echostar 7
satellite will employ spot beam technology with limited frequency re-use to provide different programming to different regions of the
country.

Special Temporary Authority
Intelsat LLC has filed a request for Special Temporary Authority for in-orbit testing of its INTELSAT 902 satellite. Intelsat seeks
authority to test the INTELSAT 902 satellite at 58.5° E.L. for 45 days from September 1, 2001 through October 15, 2001.
