to allow Intelsat LLC to temporarily deploy INTELSAT 705 at 340 degrees E.L.

Intelsat LLC has filed a request for special temporary authority for 48 days, beginning August 28, 2001 through October 14, 2001, to
allow Intelsat LLC to temporarily deploy INTELSAT 901 at 307 degrees E.L. as a cold standby for the INTELSAT 706 during the
next eclipse season.

PanAmSat Licensee Corp. (PanAmSat) has filed a request for Special Temporary Authority (STA) for up to 180 days, commencing on
August 6, 2001, to relocate PAS-6 from 68.5° E.L to 72° E.L. and to operate the satellite at that orbital location.
