The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves the right to return any of the
applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies.

Based on the transmitter locations and technical parameters contained in the subject STA request, commenters are requested to provide, in addition to any
interference analysis to planned facilities and systems, any information on demonstrated interference to stations currently deployed and operational. Comments
are solicited as well on specific alternatives (e.g., filters, antenna reorientation, power reduction, etc.) that would reduce susceptibility to, or potential for, such
interference.

COMMENTS may be filed on or before August 21, 2001.
REPLIES may be filed on or before August 31, 2001.

 Special Temporary Authority

 XM Radio, Inc has filed a request for special temporary authority to operate Digital Audio Radio Service (DARS) terrestrial repeaters in its licensed band in the markets listed in its request.
 The repeaters will be operated along with XM Radio's two in-orbit DARS satellite. XM Radio requests authority for 180 days.

 Special Temporary Authority

 Sirius Satellite Radio, Inc has filed a request for special temporary authority to operate terrestrial repeaters in 104 sites in connection with its satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (DARS)
 system. Sirius requests authority for 180 days.
