SAT-AMD-20010216-00013                              TELESAT CANADA
Amendment
Telesat Canada has filed additional information related to its pending request to remove conditions of non-interference on its Anik E1
and Anik E2 satellites. See File No. SAT-PDR-20000428-00096. Telesat Canada indicates that following the launch of Anik F1, to
be operated at 107.3 degrees W.L., it will relocate Anik E1 from 111.1 degrees W.L. to 118.7 degrees W.L. and Anik E2 from 107.3
degrees W.L. to 111.1 degrees W.L.



SAT-MOD-20000222-00061               S2178          ECHOSTAR SATELLITE CORPORATION
Modification
EchoStar Satellite Corporation has filed an application for modification of its authorization to launch and operate a Ka-band
fixed-satellite service geostationary satellite at 83 degrees W.L. EchoStar seeks to add 500 MHz of spectrum (28.35-28.6 GHz and
29.25-29.5 GHz) for uplink operations and 500 MHz of spectrum (18.3-18.8 GHz) for downlink operations. EchoStar states that this
is a minor modification and should be treated as part of the first processing round or, alternatively, the Commission should waive the
processing round rules to permit such treatment.

SAT-MOD-20001229-00172               S2149          E-SAT, Inc.
Modification
E-Sat, Inc. has filed an application for modification of its non-voice, non-geostationary mobile satellite service satellite system. The
modification changes certain technical characteristics of the system: changing the altitude from 893.79 km to 800 km and the orbital
inclination from 99.01 degrees to 98.3 degrees.

Special Temporary Authority

GE American Communications, Inc. has filed a request for Special Temporary Authority to operate its GE-6 satellite at 80.95 degrees
W.L. for a period of up to six months to provide service to North and South America. Currently, the GE-6 satellite operates at 72
degrees W.L.
