The effective date of these actions is the release date of this Notice, except where an effective date is specified. SAT-PDR-20190403-00022 E S3048 New Skies Satellites B.V. Petition for Declaratory Ruling Grant of Authority Effective Date: 09/12/2019 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On September 12, 2019, the Satellite Division granted New Skies Satellites B.V.'s request for U.S. market access for its NSS-6 space station at the 169.5° W.L. orbital location. NSS-6 will be added to the Permitted List for fixed-satellite service and telemetry, tracking and control in the 13.75-14.0 GHz (Earth-to-space), 10.95-11.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 11.45-11.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) bands. NSS-6 is also authorized to serve the U.S. using the 12.5-12.75 GHz band for space-to-Earth operations. NSS-6 will conduct telemetry, tracking, and command using the following center frequencies: 11.1995 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.1980 GHz (space-to-Earth), 14.4960 GHz (Earth-to-space) and 14.4990 GHz (Earth-to-space). SAT-STA-20190410-00026 E S2253 Intelsat License LLC Special Temporary Authority Withdrawn Effective Date: 09/09/2019 SAT-STA-20190805-00071 E S2844 EchoStar BSS Corporation Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 09/11/2019 Nature of Service: Direct Broadcast Satellite Service On September 11, 2019, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation for special temporary authority for a period of 180 days, to continue to operate the EchoStar 16 space station to provide Direct Broadcast Satellite service over channels 1 and 2 at the 61.5º W.L. orbital location. SAT-STA-20190812-00073 E S2405 Intelsat License LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 09/12/2019 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On September 12, 2019, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority for a period of 30 days to Intelsat License LLC to continue to operate Intelsat 901 in the 3625-3700 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 5850-5925 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands in order to provide additional capacity at the 29.5° W.L. orbital location. SAT-STA-20190826-00081 E S3039 DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 09/11/2019 On September 11, 2019, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC, for a period of 30 days, to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking and command operations necessary to drift its T16 satellite to the 100.85° W.L. orbital location. Telemetry, tracking, and command will use the following center frequencies: 12697 MHz and 12698 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 17789 MHz and 17791 MHz (Earth-to-space). SAT-STA-20190826-00082 E S2154 Intelsat License LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 09/10/2019 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On September 10, 2019, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority for a period of 30 days to Intelsat License LLC, to provide fixed-satellite service via the Galaxy 25 space station at the 32.9° E.L. orbital location in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Telemetry, tracking, and command will use the following center frequencies: 4195.5 MHz and 4199.5 MHz (space-to-Earth); and 5926.5 MHz and 6423.5 MHz (Earth-to-space). SAT-STA-20190906-00088 E S2179 EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 09/06/2019 On September 6, 2019, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority for a period of 30 days to EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation to extend the service area of the EchoStar 9 space station to cover the Bahamas and to operate in the 11.7-12.2 GHz and the 14.0-14.5 GHz frequency bands.
