Modification


Constellation Communications Holdings, Inc. has filed an application for Modification of the milestone schedule established for its
above 1 GHz Low Earth Orbit Mobile Satellite Service satellite system. Constellation requests an extension of (1) the two satellite
construction completion milestone to July 2001; (2) the system construction completion milestone to July 2002; and (3) the system
operational status milestone to July 2004.




SAT-STA-20000906-00130              KS29          GE AMERICAN COMMUNICATIONS, INC.
Special Temporary Authority


GE American Communications, Inc. has filed a request for Special Temporary Authority to operate its Satcom SN-4 satellite at 172
degrees E.L. for a period of up to six months. Satcom SN-4 is assigned to 72 degrees W.L. and is operating at 81.1 degrees W.L.
pursuant to special temporary authority. (See File No. SAT-STA-20000120-00050) Columbia Communications Corporation, now a
wholly-owned subisidiary of GE Americom, has been authorized to construct and launch a new C/Ku-band hybrid satellite to be operated
at 172 degrees E.L. GE Americom is seeking authority to operate the Satcom SN-4 satellite at 172 degrees E.L. pending construction
and launch of the Columbia satellite.
