SAT-LOA-20190102-00001 E S3042 HawkEye 360, Inc. Date Filed: 01/02/2019 11:41:50:22300 Launch and Operating Authority HawkEye 360 (HE360) requests authority to construct, deploy, and operate a constellation of low-Earth orbit, non-geostationary satellites in the Earth Exploration Satellite Service. Up to 220 satellites will be launched and operated over the 15-year term of the requested license, with no more than 80 satellites operational at a given time. HE360 requests authority to use the following frequencies bands: 2025-2110 MHz (Earth-to-space) and 8025-8400 MHz (space-to-Earth) for primary data and telemetry, tracking and command (TT&C); and 2200-2290 MHz (Space-to-Earth) for backup TT&C. HE360 also requests authority for reception only in the following services and frequencies: ADS-B (1087.7-1092.3 MHz); AIS 1 (161.9625-161.9875 MHz); and AIS 2 (162.0125-162.0375 MHz); AIS 3 (156.7625-156.7875 MHz); and AIS 4 (156.8125-156.8375 MHz); DSC (156.5125-156.5375 MHz); and EPIRB (406.0-406.1). HE360 requests waiver of sections 25.156 and 25.157 of the Commission's rules. SAT-MOD-20190212-00011 E S3017 Hughes Network Systems, LLC Date Filed: 02/12/2019 16:50:15:60600 Modification Hughes Network Systems, LLC seeks to modify the authorization for its EchoStar XXIV space station (also known as HNS 95W or Jupiter 3) at the 95.2° W.L. orbital location. Specifically, Hughes seeks to access the 28.6-29.1 GHz frequency band (Earth-to-space) for fixed-satellite service feeder uplinks. Hughes also seeks to access the 18.8-19.3 GHz frequency band (space-to-Earth) for downlinks to user terminals in the United States and, thus, to remove the restriction limiting use of the 18.8-19.3 GHz frequency band to operations outside the United States and its possessions. Hughes proposes to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command using the following frequencies: 20.197 GHz (space-to-Earth), 20.199 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 29.992 - 29.996 GHz (Earth-to-space). SAT-STA-20190304-00013 E S2960 Intelsat License LLC Date Filed: 03/04/2019 14:44:25:75600 Special Temporary Authority Intelsat License LLC requests special temporary authority, for a period of 180 days, to continue to operate a C/Ku-band satellite, the JCSAT-RA space station, at the 168.9º E.L. orbital location to provide fixed-satellite service in the 3940-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 6225-6485 MHz (Earth-to-space), 12.2-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 13.75-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Intelsat also seeks authority to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking and command operations necessary to maintain JCSAT-RA at the 168.9° E.L. orbital location using the center frequencies of 13.9935 GHz and 14.496 GHz (Earth-to-space); and 4199.55 MHz, 12.2485 GHz, 12.7472 GHz, 12.74835 GHz and 12.74975 GHz (space-to-Earth). Intelsat also requests that the prior waivers of Section 2.106 regarding operations of JCSAT-RA in the 12.2-12.7 GHz and 12.7-12.75 bands at 169.0° E.L. be extended to operations of JCSAT-RA at 168.9° E.L.
