 SAT-AMD-20000801-00116                             S2193                ASTROLINK INTERNATIONAL LLC
 Amendment


 Astrolink International, LLC has filed an amendment to its application for modification of its Ka-band satellite system (see File No. SAT-MOD-19971222-00220). In its modification
 application, Astrolink requested authority to perform TT&C operations in extended C-band frequencies. This amendment changes the specific frequencies. In addition, Astrolink seeks a
 limited waiver of the extended C-band freeze to permit the licensing of a single earth station to perform the TT&C functions in the requested extended C-band frequencies.




 SAT-STA-20000804-00124                             PAS-1R               PANAMSAT LICENSEE CORP.
 Special Temporary Authority

 PanAmSat Licensee Corporation has filed a request for Special Temporary Authority to conduct in orbit testing of the PAS-1R satellite at 61.5 degrees W.L. for a period of up to 90 days
 commencing at launch. PAS-1R is a C/Ku-band hybrid satellite that is intended to replace PAS-1 at 45 degrees W.L. Launch is scheduled in the fourth quarter of this year.

 Comments may be filed on or before SEPTEMBER 15, 2000. Replies may be filed on or before SEPTEMBER 26, 2000.
