The effective date of these actions is the release date of this Notice, except where an effective date is specified. SAT-MOD-20180831-00065 E S2786 XM Radio LLC Modification 12/02/2018 - 12/02/2026 Grant of Authority Effective Date: 11/01/2018 Nature of Service: Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service On November 1, 2018, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of XM Radio LLC to modify the authorization for its XM-5 satellite digital audio radio service (SDARS) space station at the 85.15° W.L. orbital location by extending the eight-year license term for an additional eight years, through December 2, 2026. XM Radio LLC is currently authorized to operate XM-5 as an in-orbit spare to provide SDARS at the 85.15° W.L. orbital location in the 2320-2345 MHz (space-to-Earth) frequency band and to receive feeder link transmissions in the 7025-7075 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency band. SAT-STA-20180830-00064 E S2930 DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 11/01/2018 On November 1, 2018, the Satellite DIvision granted, with conditions, special temporary authority for a period of 180 days to DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking and command operations necessary to maintain DIRECTV T15 at the 100.85° W.L. orbital location and to provide direct broadcast satellite service while at 100.85° W.L. in the 12.2-12.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 17.3-17.8 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. SAT-STA-20181018-00080 E S2632 DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 11/01/2018 On November 1, 2018, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority for a period of 30 days to DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC to continue to: (1) conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to maintain DIRECTV T8 at the 100.75° W.L. orbital location using the following center frequencies: 17307.00 MHz (Earth-to-space); 12203.25 MHz and 12203.75 MHz (space-to-Earth); and (2) provide direct-broadcast satellite service via DIRECTV at 100.75° W.L.
