Nature of Service: Earth Exploration Satellite Service

On August 1, 2018, the Satellite Division issued, with conditions, a further grant in part of Astro Digital U.S. Inc.'s application to construct,
deploy, and operate a constellation of satellites to provide Earth Exploration Satellite Service at orbital altitudes between 475 and 625 km.
Specifically, Astro Digital was granted authority to construct, deploy, and operate up to five Landmapper-BC satellites that will operate using the
25.5-27.0 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 29.9-30.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands, and that will conduct telemetry, tracking and command
operations using center frequencies at 402.9 MHz (Earth-to-space) and 400.5 MHz (space-to-Earth). Astro Digital was also authorized to operate
inter-satellite links between its satellite and the Globalstar system using the 2483.5-2495 MHz and 1615-1617.775 MHz frequency bands. The
Division continued to defer action on the remainder of Astro Digital's application.
