SAT-MOD-20000607-00099 DBS8801 ECHOSTAR SATELLITE CORPORATION
Modification

EchoStar Satellite Corporation has filed an application for modification of its DBS Authorizations, Launch and Operation Authority.

In its request, EchoStar seeks authority to launch and operate its EchoStar 6 satellite at the 119.05 degree W.L. orbital location, rather
than at its assigned location of 110 degrees W.L. as authorized. EchoStar 5 is operating at 110 degrees W.L. and would continue at
that location. In addition, EchoStar seeks to move EchoStar 1 to 148 degrees W.L. and to move and operate EchoStar 4 at 118.9
degrees W.L. and EchoStar 2 at 119.35 degrees W.L. EchoStar states these minor redeployments are required be an agreement between
EchoStar and DirecTV, the only other licensed DBS operate at 119 degree W.L.

COMMENTS on this application may be filed on or before JUNE 27, 2000.
REPLIES may be filed on or before JULY 5, 2000.
