Nature of Service:       Fixed Satellite Service


On March 20, 2018, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, and deferred in part the application of Hughes Network Systems, LLC to
construct, deploy, and operate the HNS-95W (Jupiter-3) geostationary orbit space station at the 95.2° W.L. orbital location. Hughes was
authorized to provide fixed-satellite service in the 18.3-19.3 GHz (space-to-Earth), 19.7-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 27.5-28.0 GHz
(Earth-to-space), 28.1-28.6 GHz (Earth-to-space), 29.3-29.9 GHz (Earth-to-space), 29.992-29.996 GHz (Earth-to-space), 40.0-42.0 GHz
(space-to-Earth), and 47.2-50.2 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Action on Hughes's request for authority to operate in the 50.4-51.4 GHz
(Earth-to-space) frequency band was deferred.

The Satellite Division has determined that Intelsat License LLC has met the launch and begin operations milestone associated with its
authorization for the Intelsat 37e space station at 18.0° W.L. (Call Sign S2972) and may release the bond associated with this space station,
as provided in the Comprehensive Review of Licensing and Operating Rules for Satellite Services, Second Report and Order, 30 FCC Rcd
14713 (2015).
