The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined that the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice
may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions, and
other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless
otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

Intelsat License, LLC requests modification of its license for the Intelsat 1R space station to specify the operations of Intelsat 1R at the 157.1º
E.L. orbital location. Intelsat 1R currently provides Fixed Satellite Service at 157.1º E.L. pursuant to a grant of Special Temporary Authority.
At the 157.1º E.L. orbital location, Intelsat 1R will continue to operate in the 3700-4200 MHz, 10.95-11.2 GHz, 11.45-11.95 GHz
(space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz and 13.75-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Telemetry, tracking and command operations will
continue on the following center frequencies: 11696 MHz, 11697 MHz (space-to-Earth); and 13995 MHz, 14498.5 MHz (Earth-to-space).
Intelsat seeks waivers of section 2.106, footnote NG52, and section 25.83(c) for Intelsat 1R's operations at the 157.1º E.L. orbital location.

Special Temporary Authority


EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation requests special temporary authority for a period of 180 days to continue to operate the EchoStar 16
satellite to provide Direct Broadcast Satellite service over channels 1 and 2 at the 61.5° W.L. orbital location. EchoStar states that it will continue
to comply with conditions set forth in our June 2012 order. See EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation Applications for Special Temporary
Authority to Operate Direct Broadcast Satellite Service Space Stations EchoStar 3, EchoStar 12, EchoStar 15, and EchoStar 16 on Channels 1
and 2 at the 61.5° W.L. Orbital Location, Order and Authorization, 27 FCC Rcd 7138, 7141-42, para. 11 (Int'l Bur. Sat. Div. 2012).
