Nature of Service:       Mobile Satellite Service


On January 18, 2018, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of Iridium Constellation LLC for modification of its license
for a non-geostationary, mobile-satellite service constellation. Iridium was granted an extension of the license term for its first-generation
satellites until July 31, 2019, and authority to maintain up to 18 first-generation satellites as in-orbit spares during the transition to its
second-generation satellite system. Iridium first-generation satellites are authorized to operate in the 1617.775-1626 MHz, 19.4-19.6 GHz,
23.18-23.38 GHz, and 29.1-29.3 GHz frequency bands.

Nature of Service:       Fixed Satellite Service


On January 18, 2018, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of Hughes Network Systems, LLC, for modification of the
authorization for the EchoStar XIX (aka Jupiter 2) space station to extend the coverage of EchoStar XIX to include the United States Virgin
Islands. EchoStar XIX operates at the 97.1° W.L. orbital location using the following frequency bands: 18.3-18.8 GHz and 19.7-20.2 GHz
(space-to-Earth); 18.8-19.3 GHz (space-to-Earth) on non-interference basis; 28.35-28.6 GHz and 29.25-30.0 GHz (Earth-to-space); and
27.85-28.35 GHz and 28.6-29.1 GHz (Earth-to-space) on secondary basis. Telemetry, tracking, and command is conducted using the 19701
MHz and 19703 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 28351.5 MHz and 28353.5 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. EchoStar XIX will transmit a
beacon signal using the center frequency 20199 MHz (space-to-Earth) and will receive transmissions for auto-tracking on the center frequency
29998.5 MHz (Earth-to-space).
