Modification

ES 172 LLC, Inc. requests modification of the license for the EUTELSAT 172A space station to specify operations at the 174° E.L. orbital
location instead of at the 172° E.L. orbital location. ES 172 LLC seeks authority to operate EUTELSAT 172A at 174° E.L. with an east-west
station keeping tolerance of +/- 0.1 degrees. EUTELSAT 172A operates in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 5925-6425 MHz
(Earth-to-space) bands, and the 10.95-11.20 GHz, 11.45-11.7 GHz and 12.2-12.75 GHz bands (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz
(Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Telemetry, tracking, and command is conducted using center frequencies located at 11200.6 MHz and
12250.1 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 14499.8 MHz (Earth-to-space).

SAT-MOD-20171204-00163 E S2834 Hughes Network Systems, LLC

Modification

Hughes Network Systems, LLC, requests modification of its authority to operate the Jupiter 2 satellite (aka EchoStar XIX) in order to extend
Jupiter 2's coverage to include the United States Virgin Islands. Jupiter 2 operates in the 18.3-18.8 GHz and 19.7-20.2 GHz frequency bands
(space-to-Earth), and 28.35-28.6 GHz and 29.2-30.0 GHz frequency bands (Earth-to-space). Jupiter 2 is authorized to operate in the 27.85-28.35
GHz and 28.6-29.1 GHz frequency bands (Earth-to-space) on a secondary basis, and in the 18.8-19.3 GHz frequency band (space-to-Earth) on a
non-interference basis. Telemetry, tracking, and command will be conducted using the following center frequencies: 19701 MHz and 19703
MHz (space-to-Earth) and 28351.5 MHz and 28353.5 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Jupiter will also transmit a beacon signal on the
center frequency 20199 MHz (space-to-Earth) and receive transmissions for auto-tracking on the center frequency 29998.5 MHz (Earth-to-space).
