The effective date of these actions is the release date of this Notice, except where an effective date is specified. SAT-MOD-20170824-00123 E S2462 Skynet Satellite Corporation Modification 11/02/2017 - 11/30/2017 Grant of Authority Effective Date: 11/02/2017 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On November 2, 2017, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, Skynet Satellite Corporation's request for a modification of its space station authorization to operate the Telstar 12 space station using an alternative spot-beam configuration to cover the United States and the Caribbean, described as "beam configuration 2" in IBFS File No. SAT-MOD-20160513-00050. Telstar 12 provides Fixed-Satellite Service from the 109.2° W.L. orbital location using the 10.95-11.2 GHz, 11.45-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 13.75-14.0 GHz, 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. SAT-STA-20171031-00147 E S2434 SES Americom, Inc. Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 11/02/2017 On November 2, 2017, the Satellite Division granted special temporary authority, for a period of 30 days, to SES Americom, Inc. to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking and command operations in connection with maneuvering the AMC-9 satellite to a disposal orbit.
