On August 30, 2017, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of Planet Labs for special temporary authority for a period of
180 days to allow all satellites in the Planet Labs constellation to continue to operate in the 8025-8400 MHz frequency band with the Kongsberg
Satellite Services ground station in Troll, Antarctica and the Swedish Space Corporation ground station in Punta Arenas, Chile.

Special Temporary Authority

On August 30, 2017, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC, for a period of 90 days,
to conduct in-orbit testing (IOT) of the Intelsat 37e satellite at the 17.5º W.L. orbital location using the 3400-4200, 10.7-11.95 GHz, 12.5-12.75
GHz, 18.3-18.8 GHz, and 19.7-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 5850-6650 MHz, 13.0-13.25 GHz, 13.75-14.5 GHz, 28.35-28.85 GHz, and
29.5-30.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Intelsat is also authorized to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to
maintain Intelsat 37e during IOT at the 17.5º W.L. orbital location, and to effect the drift of Intelsat 37e to the 18.0° W.L. orbital location upon
completion of IOT, using the following center frequencies: 4197.75 MHz, 4198.25 MHz, 4198.75 MHz, and 4199.25 MHz (space-to-Earth); and
the 5850.5-5853.0 MHz and 6422.5-6424.5 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands, selectable via ground command in 100 kilohertz steps.

On August 30, 2017, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC for a period of 30 days,
to continue to provide fixed-satellite service via Intelsat 1R satellite at the 169.2° E.L. orbital location in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth),
5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10950-11200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 11450-11950 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 13750-14500 MHz
(Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Intelsat was also granted special temporary authority for a period of 30 days, to continue to conduct telemetry,
tracking, and command operations necessary to maintain Intelsat 1R satellite at the 169.2° E.L. orbital location using the following center
frequencies: 13995 MHz (Earth-to-space), 14498.5 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11696 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 11697 MHz (space-to-Earth).
