INFORMATIVE
On July 6, 2017, the Satellite Division granted market access to ViaSat, Inc. for a proposed 17/24 GHz space station, VIASAT-RDBS2
(Call Sign S3002), at the 110.9° W.L. orbital location. ViaSat did not post the bond as required by section 25.165 of the Commission's
rules and a condition to its market access grant. Accordingly, the grant of market access became null and void on August 5, 2017. The
market access grant specified the 17.3-17.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 24.75-25.25 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Effective 2:00
p.m. ET on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, parties may file for space station authorizations and U.S. market access that otherwise would have
been mutually exclusive with ViaSat's grant. Such requests filed prior to this date and time will be dismissed as premature without
prejudice to refiling.
