On July 31, 2017, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, SES Americom, Inc.'s request to modify the license for the AMC-4 space
station to specify operations of AMC-4 at the 134.9° W.L. orbital location, instead of the 67.0° W.L. orbital location, to provide fixed-satellite
service, including direct-to-home service, using the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11.7-12.2 GHz
(space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space), and 11.45-11.7 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 13.75-14.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency
bands. SES Americom was granted authority to use the 3700.5 MHz, 4199.5 MHz, 11702.0 MHz, and 12198.0 MHz frequencies for telemetry,
tracking, and command operations during the drift to and while at the 134.9° W.L. orbital location. The authorization for AMC-4 was also
modified by extending the license term of AMC-4 through February 28, 2022.
