satellites as in-orbit spare satellites at an altitude of 763 km. Iridium was also authorized to maneuver first-generation satellites to replace other
first-generation satellites on a temporary basis.

INFORMATIVE
SAT-LOI-20160208-00016 S2954 ViaSat, Inc.
On October 5, 2016, the Satellite Division granted market access to ViaSat, Inc. to provide Fixed-Satellite Service in the United States
using a proposed space station, VIASAT-133W (Call Sign S2954), at the 132.9° W.L. orbital location under the authority of the United
Kingdom. ViaSat did not post the bond as required by Section 25.165 of the Commission's rules and a condition to its market access grant.
Accordingly, the grant of market access became null and void on November 4, 2016. The market access grant specified the 18.3-18.8
GHz, 18.8-19.3 GHz, and 19.7-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 28.1-28.35 GHz, 28.35-28.6 GHz, 28.6-29.1 GHz, and 29.5-30.0 GHz
(Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Effective 2:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 parties may file for space station authorizations and
U.S. market access that otherwise would have been mutually exclusive with ViaSat's grant. Such requests filed prior to this date and time
will be dismissed as premature without prejudice to refiling.

SAT-MOD-20160425-00040 S2400 Intelsat License LLC
On June 27, 2014, the Satellite Division authorized Intelsat Licensee LLC to operate the Intelsat 701 space station (Call Sign S2400) at the
29.5° W.L. orbital location using the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10.95-11.2 GHz
(space-to-Earth), 11.45-11.7 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.7-11.95 GHz (space-to-Earth), 12.5-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz
(Earth-to-space) frequency bands. See IBFS File No. SAT-MOD-20130513-00068. On May 26, 2017, Intelsat notified the Commission
that it had deorbited the Intelsat 701 Space Station. See Letter from Susan H. Crandall, Associate General Counsel, Intelsat Corporation, to
Marlene H. Dortch, Secretary, FCC, dated May 26, 2017. Intelsat is not operating, nor has it indicated any intent to operate, another space
station that uses the 10.95-11.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) or 12.5-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands at the 29.5° W.L. orbital
location. These frequency bands at the 29.5° W.L. orbital location are now available for reassignment pursuant to the Commission's
first-come, first-served licensing process effective 2:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. At that time, interested parties may file
applications for new space stations, requests for market access by non-U.S. licensed space stations, modifications to licensed space
stations, or amendments to pending applications taking this announcement into account. Applications filed prior to this date and time will
be dismissed as premature, without prejudice to re-filing.
