The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined that the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice
may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions, and
other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless
otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

 Special Temporary Authority


 Iridium Constellation LLC requests special temporary authority, for a period of 180 days, to relocate and maintain up to 12 first-generation
 satellites as spare satellites at an altitude of 760 km during the transition to Iridium's second-generation constellation. Iridium also requests
 authority to reposition first-generation satellites as replacements for satellites removed from the mission constellation. Iridium provides
 mobile-satellite service in the 1617.775-1626.5 MHz (Earth-to-space/space-to-Earth) frequency band. Inter-satellite links are operated in the
 23.18-23.38 GHz band. Feeder links and telemetry, tracking, and command operations are conducted in the 19.4-19.6 GHz (space-to-Earth) and
 29.1-29.3 GHz (Earth-to-space) bands.
