The effective date of these actions is the release date of this Notice, except where an effective date is specified. SAT-MOD-20170202-00011 E S2134 SES Americom, Inc. Modification 03/30/2017 - 12/31/2017 Grant of Authority Effective Date: 03/30/2017 Nature of Service: Direct to Home Fixed Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service On March 30, 2017, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of SES Americom, Inc. to modify the authorization for the AMC-2 space station at the 84.85° W.L. orbital location to add operations in the conventional C-band. Specifically, this grant authorizes SES Americom to provide fixed-satellite service (FSS) in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. SES is also authorized to continue operating pursuant to previously granted waivers of Sections 25.210(j) and 25.114(c)(4) of the Commission's rules. INFORMATIVE SAT-LOA-20150327-00016 S2939 Intelsat License LLC The Satellite Division has determined that Intelsat License LLC has met the launch and commence operations milestone associated with its authorization for the Intelsat 33e space station at 60.0° E.L. (Call Sign S2939) and may release the bond associated with this space station, as provided in the Amendment of the Commission's Space Station Licensing Rules and Policies, First Report and Order and Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, IB Docket No. 02-34, 18 FCC Rcd 10760 (2003); Amendment of the Commission's Space Station Licensing Rules and Policies, First Order on Reconsideration and Fifth Report and Order, IB Docket No. 02-34, 19 FCC Rcd 12637 (2004), 47 CFR § 25.165(d).
