 Nature of Service:      Direct to Home Fixed Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service


 On February 9, 2017, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of SES DTH do Brasil Ltda to access the U.S. market to provide
 fixed-satellite service, including direct-to-home services, using the proposed SES-14 space station to be licensed by Brazil at the 47.5° W.L.
 orbital location. The Satellite Division added SES-14 at 47.5° W.L. to the Commission's Permitted Space Station List for the provision of
 fixed-satellite service in the 3625-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 5850-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands, the 10.95-11.2 GHz and
 11.45-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 13.75-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. As part of the grant of U.S. market access, the Satellite
 Division included the provision of DTH services in the 11.7-11.95 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands;
 and the provision of fixed-satellite services in the 12.2-12.45 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 17.3-17.8 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands.

The Satellite Division has determined that Satélites Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V. dba Eutelsat Americas has met the launch and operation
milestone associated with its grant of market access for the E117WB (fka Satmex 9) space station (Call Sign S2926) at the 117° W.L.
orbital location and may release the bond as provided in Amendment of the Commission's Space Station Licensing Rules and Policies, First
Report and Order and Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, IB Docket No. 02-34, 18 FCC Rcd 10760 (2003); Amendment of the
Commission's Space Station Licensing Rules and Policies, First Order on Reconsideration and Fifth Report and Order, IB Docket No.
02-34, 19 FCC Rcd 12637 (2004), 47 CFR § 25.165(d).
