SAT-MOD-20160916-00091 E S2913 Intelsat License LLC Modification 01/26/2017 - 03/21/2031 Grant of Authority Effective Date: 01/26/2017 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On January 26, 2017, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of Intelsat License LLC to modify the authorization for the Intelsat 29e space station at the 50° W.L. orbital location. The authorization was modified to permit Intelsat to operate command channels for Intelsat 29e with center frequencies in the ranges of 5850.5-5853.0 MHz and 6422.0-6424.5 MHz (Earth-to-space), selectable via ground command in 100 kilohertz steps. Modification 11/14/2016 - 11/22/2023 Grant of Authority Effective Date: 12/08/2016 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On January 18, 2017, the Satellite Division reissued the license conditions for the AMC-6 space station to reflect relocation of AMC-6 from the 72° W.L. orbital location to 67° W.L., where it operates within the technical parameters licensed and coordinated for AMC-3 and AMC-4 at that location. This relocation was made pursuant to Section 25.118(e) of the Commission's rules and became effective on November 14, 2016, without further authorization by the Commission. On January 18, 2017, the Satellite Division reissued the license conditions for the AMC-3 space station to reflect relocation of AMC-3 from the 67° W.L. orbital location to 72° W.L., where it operates within the technical parameters licensed and coordinated for AMC-6 at that location. This relocation was made pursuant to Section 25.118(e) of the Commission's rules and became effective on November 24, 2016, without further authorization by the Commission. SAT-STA-20161207-00126 E EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 01/26/2017 On January 26, 2017, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority for 180 days for EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation to maintain EchoStar 3 as an in-orbit spare at the 61.8° W.L. orbital location using the 12.201 GHz, 12.203 GHz, and 12.699 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 17.3015 GHz (Earth-to-space) center frequencies. SAT-STA-20170112-00004 E AMSC-1 Ligado Networks Subsidiary LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 01/18/2017 On January 18, 2016, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority, for a period of 60 days, for Ligado Networks Subsidiary LLC to continue to operate the MSAT-2 space station at the 103.3° W.L. orbital location.
