 Modification

Intelsat License LLC seeks modification of the license for the Intelsat 29e satellite at the 50° W.L. orbital location. Specifically, Intelsat seeks
authority to operate command channels for Intelsat 29e with center frequencies in the ranges of 5850.5-5853.0 MHz and 6422.0-6424.5 MHz,
selectable via ground command in 100 kilohertz steps. Intelsat was previously authorized to operate command channels for Intelsat 29e using two
of four channels centered at the frequencies 5850.5 MHz, 5853.0 MHz, 6422 MHz, and 6424.5 MHz.

 Special Temporary Authority

Intelsat License LLC requests special temporary authority for a period of 180 days to: (1) conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations
necessary to drift the Intelsat 1R space station from the 50.1° W.L. orbital location to the 169.2° E.L. orbital location, and to maintain it at this
location using the following center frequencies: 13995 MHz (Earth-to-space), 14498.5 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11696 MHz (space-to-Earth) and
11697 MHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands; and (2) provide fixed-satellite service via Intelsat 1R in the 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space),
 13750-14500 MHz (Earth-to-space); 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 10950-11200 MHz (space-to-Earth), and the 11450-11950 MHz
(space-to-Earth) frequency bands once the satellite is located at the 169.2° E.L. orbital location. In addition, Intelsat requests that the
Commission extend the waivers of all applicable rules previously granted to Intelsat 1R at the 50.1° W.L. orbital location to its operations at the
 169.2° E.L. orbital location.
