 Nature of Service:       Fixed Satellite Service


 On October 25, 2016, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the letter of intent filed by ViaSat, Inc. to access the U.S. market using the
 proposed VIASAT-109W space station to be located at the 109.1° W.L. orbital location. The space station will provide fixed-satellite service
 and operate under the authority of the United Kingdom. VIASAT-109W will be added to the Commission's Permitted Space Station List in the
 18.3-18.8 GHz and 19.7-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 28.35-28.6 GHz and 29.5-30.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. In addition, the
 Satellite Division granted U.S. market access to VIASAT-109W in the 18.8-19.3 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 28.1-28.35 GHz and 28.6-29.1 GHz
 (Earth-to-space) frequency bands.

 Nature of Service:       Other


 On October 25, 2016, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Spaceflight, Inc. to operate a
 non-geostationary spacecraft to be known as SHERPA, designed to deploy approximately 90 small spacecraft in low Earth orbit over the course
 of a twelve-hour operational period. Spaceflight Inc. was granted authority to use the 401.5 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 450.2 MHz
 (Earth-to-space) frequency bands for space operation communications during the twelve-hour operational lifetime of SHERPA. The grant is
 limited to the SHERPA spacecraft and does not extend to individual licenses for the small spacecraft on board SHERPA.
