Modification 09/08/2016 - Grant of Authority Effective Date: 09/08/2016 Nature of Service: Other On September 8, 2016, the Satellite Division granted, subject to conditions, the application of DISH Operating L.L.C. to operate EchoStar 18 at the 61.35° W.L. orbital location instead of the initially authorized 109.9° W.L. orbital location. EchoStar 18 will operate as an in-orbit spare and use the following frequencies for telemetry, tracking, and command: 12.695 GHz, 12.696 GHz, 12.203 GHz, and 12.204 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 17.303 GHz (Earth-to-space). Command operations may also be conducted in the 17.791-17.796 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency band. SAT-STA-20160725-00071 E S2741 EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 09/08/2016 On September 8, 2016, the Satellite Division granted, subject to conditions, special temporary authority for a period of 180 days to EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation to continue to provide Direct Broadcast Satellite service over channels 1 and 2 via the EchoStar 3 space station at the 61.8° W.L. orbital location. SAT-STA-20160725-00072 E S2653 EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 09/08/2016 On September 8, 2016, the Satellite Division granted, subject to conditions, special temporary authority for a period of 180 days to EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation to continue to provide Direct Broadcast Satellite service over channels 1 and 2 via the EchoStar 12 space station at the 61.35° W.L. orbital location. INFORMATIVE SAT-LOA-20160622-00058 S2966 The Boeing Company On September 8, 2016, the Satellite Division designated the above-captioned proceeding as "permit-but-disclose" for purposes of the Commission's rule governing ex parte communications. We find that designating this proceeding as "permit-but-disclose" will facilitate communications with the parties concerning issues of broadly applicable policy. Thus, we designate IBFS File No. SAT-LOA-20160622-00058, as "permit-but-disclose," effective September 8, 2016. See 47 C.F.R. §§ 1.1200(a), 1.1206 and 1.1208 note 2.
