The effective date of these actions is the release date of this Notice, except where an effective date is specified. SAT-MOD-20160201-00009 E S2750 Intelsat License LLC Modification 05/18/2016 - 03/20/2025 Grant of Authority Effective Date: 05/18/2016 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On May 18, 2016, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, authority to Intelsat License LLC to modify the authorization for the Intelsat 16 space station to specify operations at the 58.1° W.L. orbital location, instead of its currently authorized orbital location of 79° W.L.. Intelsat is authorized to provide fixed-satellite service via Intelsat 16 at 58.1° W.L. in the 10.7-11.45 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 12.75-13.25 GHz (Earth-to-space), 13.75-14.0 GHz (Earth-to-space), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Intelsat is also authorized to conduct telemetry, tracking and command operations necessary to maintain Intelsat 16 at the 58.1° W.L. orbital location using the following center frequencies: 13997.5 MHz and 14499.5 MHz (Earth-to-space); and 12198.25 MHz and 12198.75 MHz (space-to-Earth). SAT-MOD-20160225-00022 E S2933 Skynet Satellite Corporation Modification 05/18/2016 - 01/05/2031 Grant of Authority Effective Date: 05/18/2016 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On May 18, 2016, the Satellite Division granted Skynet Satellite Corporation authority to modify its authorization for the Telstar 12 Vantage space station at the 15° W.L. orbital location, to operate six steerable spot beams with a wider coverage area than initially authorized, for its services to Africa and Europe, using the 14.0-14.25 GHz (Earth-to-space) and 10.95-11.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands. Modification 04/10/2016 - 04/10/2026 Grant of Authority Effective Date: 05/18/2016 Nature of Service: Other On May 18, 2016, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of DISH Operating L.L.C. to modify the authorization for the EchoStar 10 space station at the 110.2° W.L. orbital location by extending the license term until April 10, 2026. EchoStar 10 is authorized to continue to provide direct broadcast satellite service at the 110.2° W.L. orbital location using the 12.2-12.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 17.3-17.8 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. SAT-STA-20160401-00031 E Intelsat License LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 05/18/2016 On May 18, 2016, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC, for a period of 75 days, to continue operations of the Intelsat 702 space station at the 32.9° E.L. orbital location past the end of its license term, July 18, 2016, in order to allow Intelsat to de-orbit the space station. During this period, Intelsat will operate Intelsat 702 pursuant to the terms of its current authorization, IBFS File No. SAT-MOD-20121001-00163. SAT-STA-20160503-00043 E S2934 Intelsat License LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 05/18/2016 On May 18, 2016, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC, for a period of 30 days, to conduct in-orbit testing of the Intelsat 31 space station at the 132.0º W.L. orbital location using the 3400-3700 MHz (space-to-Earth), 6425-6725 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10.95-11.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.45-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 13.75-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Intelsat was also authorized to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to maintain Intelsat 31 at the 132.0º W.L. orbital location during in-orbit testing, and to effect the drift of Intelsat 31 to the 95.05º W.L. orbital location upon completion of in-orbit testing, using the following center frequencies: 11194.25 MHz, 11195.5 MHz, 11196.25 MHz, 11196.75 MHz (space-to-Earth); and 13998.5 MHz and 14006.0 MHz (Earth-to-space). SAT-STA-20160510-00046 E S2462 Skynet Satellite Corporation Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 05/18/2016 On May 18, 2016, the Satellite Division granted Skynet Satellite Corporation special temporary authority, for a period of 30 days, to conduct Telemetry, Tracking, and Command operations with the Telstar 12 space station necessary to drift the space station from the 15° W.L. orbital location to the 109.2° W.L. orbital location using the 11.4505 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.499 GHz (Earth-to-space) center frequencies.
