Modification 03/01/2016 - 06/30/2020 Grant of Authority Effective Date: 03/17/2016 Nature of Service: Direct to Home Fixed Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service On March 17, 2016, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of SES Americom, Inc. to modify the authorization for the AMC-8 space station at the 139° E.L. orbital location by extending the license term until June 30, 2020. During this period, SES is authorized to continue to provide Fixed-Satellite Service via AMC-8 in the 5.925-6.425 GHz (Earth-to-space) and 3.700-4.200 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands. SAT-STA-20160226-00023 E S2933 Skynet Satellite Corporation Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 03/17/2016 On March 17, 2016, the Satellite Division granted Skynet Satellite Corporation special temporary authority, for a period of 60 days, to operate six steerable spot beams on the Telstar 12 Vantage space station at the 15° W.L. orbital location with a wider coverage area than initially authorized, for its services to Africa and Europe, using the 14.0-14.25 GHz (Earth-to-space) and 10.95-11.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands.
