The effective date of these actions is the release date of this Notice, except where an effective date is specified. SAT-STA-20160225-00021 E S2750 Intelsat License LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 03/03/2016 On March 3, 2016, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC for a period of 30 days to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations with the Intelsat 16 space station necessary to drift the space station from the 76.2° W.L. orbital location to the 58.1° W.L. orbital location using the following center frequencies: 14.4995 GHz and 13.9975 GHz (Earth-to-space); and 12.19825 GHz and 12.19875 GHz (space-to-Earth). INFORMATIVE SAT-LOI-20150416-00025 S2940 Spectrum Five LLC On October 29, 2015, the Satellite Division granted market access to Spectrum Five LLC to provide direct-to-home service in the United States using a proposed 17/24 GHz space station, BSSNET2A-111W (Call Sign S2940), at the 110.9° W.L. orbital location under the authority of the Netherlands. Spectrum Five did not post the bond within 30 days of its grant of market access, as required by Section 25.165 of the Commission's rules and a condition to its market access grant. Accordingly, the grant of market access became null and void on November 30, 2015. The market access grant specified the 17.3-17.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 24.75-25.15 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Effective 2:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, March 8, parties may file for space station authorizations and U.S. market access that otherwise would have been mutually exclusive with Spectrum Five's grant. Such requests filed prior to this date and time will be dismissed as premature without prejudice to refiling. SAT-LOI-20150416-00026 S2941 Spectrum Five LLC On October 29, 2015, the Satellite Division granted market access to Spectrum Five LLC to provide direct-to-home service in the United States using a proposed 17/24 GHz space station, BSSNET2A-115W (Call Sign S2941), at the 115° W.L. orbital location under the authority of the Netherlands. Spectrum Five did not post the bond within 30 days of its grant of market access, as required by Section 25.165 of the Commission's rules and a condition to its market access grant. Accordingly, the grant of market access became null and void on November 30, 2015. The market access grant specified the 17.3-17.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 24.75-25.15 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands.
