 SAT-MOD-20151020-00072 E S2404 Intelsat License LLC
 Date Filed: 10/20/2015 11:55:28:09000
 Modification

Intelsat License LLC seeks to modify the authorization for the Intelsat 805 space station to specify operations at the 169.0° E.L. orbital location
 to provide fixed-satellite service in the 3400-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 12.5-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), 5850-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space),
6425-6650 MHz (Earth-to-space), and 14.0-14.25 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Intelsat seeks authority to conduct telemetry, tracking
and command operations necessary to maintain Intelsat 805 at 169.0° E.L. using the following center frequencies: 6173.7 MHz; 6176.3 MHz
 (Earth-to-space); and 3947.5 MHz; 3948.0 MHz; 3950.0 MHz; 3952.0 MHz; 3952.5 MHz; 12.501 GHz (space-to-Earth). Intelsat also requests
that the license term for Intelsat 805, which expires on July 18, 2016, be extended through December 31, 2019. Intelsat requests that the
previously granted waivers of Sections 25.202(a)(1), 25.202(g), 25.210(a)(3), 25.210(i)(1), and 25.210(f) of the Commission's rules be extended
to operations at the 169.0° E.L. orbital location. Additionally, Intelsat requests conditional waivers of Sections 25.202(a)(1) and 2.106, and new
waivers of Sections 25.283(c) and 25.114(d)(14)(ii) of the Commission's rules in connection with this application.

 Date Filed: 10/21/2015 15:41:38:55300
 Modification

Intelsat License LLC seeks to modify the authorization for the Intelsat 8 space station to specify operations at 168.9° E.L. instead of Intelsat 8's
currently authorized location of 169.0° E.L. Intelsat requests authority to provide fixed-satellite service at 168.9° E.L. using the 3700-4200 MHz
 (Earth-to-space), 5925-6425 MHz (space-to-Earth), 12.25-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands.
Intelsat requests authority to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to drift Intelsat 8 to, and maintain it at the 168.9°
E.L. orbital location using the following center frequencies: 3702 MHz, 12.747 GHz, and 12.748 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 13.998 GHz
(Earth-to-space). Intelsat additionally requests authority to continue operating the communications payload on the satellite while drifting Intelsat
8 to 168.9° E.L. Intelsat also seeks to extend the license term for Intelsat 8 through September 30, 2018. Intelsat requests a continued waiver of
the U.S. Table of Frequency Allocations, Section 2.106 of the Commission's rules, to operate Intelsat 8 in the 12.25-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth)
frequency band in ITU Region 2 in connection with this request.
