The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined that the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice
may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions, and
other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless

 Replacement Satellite Application (no new frequency)


 DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC requests authority to construct, deploy, and operate a Ku-band satellite, SKY-B1, at 43.1° W.L. The satellite will
 provide Fixed-Satellite Service at 43.1° W.L. using the 10.7-10.95 GHz, 10.95-11.2 GHz, 11.2-11.45 GHz, 11.45 - 11.7 GHz, 11.7 -12.2 GHz,
 and 18.85-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands, and 12.75-13.25 GHz, 13.75-14.0 GHz, 14.0-14.5 GHz, and 28.65-30.0 GHz
 (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. DIRECTV also requests authority to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command functions at 43.1° W.L. using
 the center frequencies of 11443 MHz, 11443.5 MHz, 11446.5 MHz and 11447 MHz. DIRECTV seeks waiver Footnote NG52 of the U.S. Table
 of Frequency Allocations, Section 2.106 of the Commission's rules, to operate in the 11.45-11.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 12.75-13.25 GHz
 (Earth-to-space) frequency band in ITU Region 2. The Ka-band frequencies will also be authorized by the Administration of the United Arab
 Emirates, for operations by Al Yah Satellite Communications Company.

 EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation requests special temporary operating authority, for a period of 180 days, to continue to conduct
 telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to maintain the EchoStar 3 Direct Broadcast Satellite space station as an in-orbit spare at
 the 61.8° W.L. orbital location using the following center frequencies: 12.201 GHz, 12.203 GHz, and 12.699 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 17.3015
 GHz (Earth-to-space).
