The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined that the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice
may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions, and
other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless
otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

Amendment


Iridium Constellation LLC has filed an amendment to its pending license modification application. Iridium amends its request for authority to
launch and operate a second-generation, non-geostationary, mobile-satellite-service constellation to include authority for up to 65 satellites to
incorporate and operate a VHF payload that would receive messages from maritime vessels within the 156.0125-162.0375 MHz frequency band.
As part of its amendment, Iridium seeks waivers of Sections 2.106, 25.112(a)(3), 25.114(c)(4)(vi)(B), 25.164, 25.165, 25.210(f), 25.210(i), and
25.287 of the Commission's rules, and the requirement to provide cross-polarization information in FCC Form 312, Schedule S, to the extent
necessary.

Special Temporary Authority


EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation requests special temporary authority for 180 days to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking and
command functions necessary drift EchoStar 15 from the 45.1° W.L. orbital location to the 61.65° W.L. orbital location, and maintain EchoStar
15 at that location as an in-orbit spare, using the following center frequencies: 17, 791.5 MHz and 17,793.5 MHz (Earth-to-space); and 12,692.0
MHz, 12,693.0 MHz, 12,694.5 MHz, and 12,698.5 MHz (space-to-Earth).
