                                            Satellite Space Applications Accepted for Filing

The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined that the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice
may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions, and
other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless
otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

 Special Temporary Authority


 Intelsat License LLC requests special temporary authority for a period of 180 days to: (1) perform telemetry, tracking, and command operations
 necessary to drift the Intelsat 805 space station from the 55.5° W.L. orbital location to 169.0° E.L. and maintain the space station at that location
 using the center frequencies of 3947.5 MHz, 3948.0 MHz, 3950 MHz, 3952.0 MHz, 3952.5 MHz, 6173.7 MHz, 6176.3 MHz and 12.501 GHz;
 and (2) operate Intelsat 805 at the 169.0° E.L. orbital location to provide fixed-satellite service in the 3400-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth),
 5850-6650 MHz (Earth-to-space), 12.5-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.25 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Intelsat requests
 that the prior waivers of Sections 25.202(a)(1), 25.202(g), 25.210(a)(3), 25.210(i)(1), and 25.210(f) of the Commission's rules be extended to the
 operation of Intelsat 805 at 169.0° E.L. and requests conditional waivers of Sections 25.202(a)(1) and 2.106 of the Commission's rules.

 Special Temporary Authority


 XM Radio LLC requests special temporary authority for a period of 180 days to continue to perform telemetry, tracking, and command
 operations necessary to drift its Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS) space station, XM-1, from the 115.25º W.L. orbital location to
 the 39° W.L. orbital location in preparation for deorbit maneuvers, using the following center frequencies: 2339.2 MHz, 2339.7 MHz, 2344.0
 MHz, 2344.5 MHz (space-to-Earth); and 7049.0 MHz and 7074.0 MHz (Earth-to-space). XM Radio requests a continued waiver of Section
 25.210(j) of the Commission's rules to permit XM-1 to be maintained at 39° W.L. with a +/-0.1 degree east-west stationkeeping tolerance, and a
 continued waiver of Section 25.283(c) in connection with its request.
