SAT-MOD-20150618-00037 E S2917 ViaSat, Inc. Date Filed: 06/18/2015 15:51:10:82000 Modification ViaSat, Inc. requests modification of its grant of U.S. market access for the ViaSat-3 space station (formerly known as VIASAT-KA 89W) at the 88.9° W.L. orbital location. ViaSat seeks to conform the technical parameters specified in its request for market access to those of its satellite under contract for construction. ViaSat-3, which will operate under the authority of the United Kingdom, will provide Fixed-Satellite Service using the 18.3-19.3 GHz and 19.7-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands, and 28.1-29.1 GHz and 29.35-30.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Among other changes, ViaSat now seeks to perform telemetry, tracking, and command operations on the following center frequencies: 18301 MHz and 18303 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 29501 MHz and 29999 MHz (Earth-to-space). As part of its application, ViaSat requests waivers of Sections 25.114(c)(4) and 25.210(i) of the Commission's rules.
