The application listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission reserves
the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice
may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions and
other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless

 Yazmi USA, LLC requests modification of its authorization for the AfriStar-1 space station at the 21° E.L. orbital location to extend the license
 term by approximately six years and three months through April 15, 2021. Yazmi is authorized to provide broadcasting-satellite service (sound)
 via AfriStar-1 in the 1452-1492 MHz (space-to-Earth) frequency band and to operate associated feeder links in the 7025-7075 MHz
 (Earth-to-space) frequency band.

 Modification


 Intelsat License LLC seeks to modify the authorization for the Intelsat 16 space station to specify operations at the 79.0° W.L. orbital location to
 provide fixed-satellite service in the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Intelsat also seeks
 authority to conduct telemetry, tracking and command operations necessary to maintain Intelsat 16 at 79° W.L. using the center frequencies of
 13997.5 MHz and 14499.5 MHz (Earth-to-space) and 12198.25 MHz and 12198.75 MHz (space-to-Earth). Intelsat requests a waiver of Section
 25.114(c)(4)(vi)(A) of the Commission's rules in connection with this application.
